For the La Bola 2026 in Mallorca, we offer three carefully curated packages so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and level.

What is 'La Bola' precies?
How long and difficult is the climb?
What is the distance and profile of the route?
Can I reach the top (the real ‘Bola’)?
Can I bring my own bike?

This depends on your personal preference. You can bring your own bike or rent one of ours. There is a wide selection of different bike types in various price ranges. If you choose a rental bike in combination with a hotel, you will receive a 20% discount on the rental bike.

What is the timing and structure of the race?

The start is at 8:30 a.m. from Palma. The initial phase is a social ride and neutralized until Sóller Fire Brigade; from there to the summit is a time trial section. The cut-off for the summit is 12:00 p.m.

What facilities are available along the way?

Water, fruit, and isotonic drinks will be available at Coll de Sóller and at the summit. Finishers will receive a jersey, medal, and have a chance to win a Specialized bike.

What are the rules and safety measures?

Helmets and chips are mandatory. There are traffic controllers, neutralization and controlled sections. Time registration via chip and disqualification for violations of, among other things, the timing rules.

How do I prepare and what are some tips?
  • Train specifically for long climbs (around 1,400 meters of elevation gain).
  • Start slowly during the neutral start in Palma.
  • Use a bike that is in good working order.
  • Make sure you have food, rain gear, and wind protection, as the weather can change at altitude.
