Mechanic
To strengthen our team in Mallorca, we are looking for a mechanic with an eye for quality and a passion for cycling. Are you ready for a sporting challenge on the most beautiful cycling island in Europe?
Will you soon be working on top-of-the-range bikes in Mallorca?
(6-20 weeks between February and June and/or September and November)
With your technical knowledge, eye for detail, and passion for quality, you will ensure that every bike is in tip-top condition before departure. Whether it’s a Wilier, Fuji, or BESV e-bike, you know exactly what’s needed for a smooth ride.
You enjoy a well-adjusted derailleur, a perfectly rolling wheel set, and satisfied cyclists. You enjoy working in a team, like to get things done, and enjoy being part of an international cycling world. Does this sound like you? Then you’re a great fit for us!
In addition to being jointly responsible for a good team spirit within Team Rompelberg and contributing to a good working atmosphere, you will be responsible for checking, repairing, and maintaining rental bikes. You will also provide service to guests regarding bike fitting and other bike-related questions and ensure quality control.
You will be the face of the organization and be open to feedback from guests and employees.
Profile
- Work experience as a bicycle or motorcycle mechanic
- Knowledge of bicycles and technology
- Experience with e-bike maintenance
- Experience with Shimano (Dura Ace, Ultegra, 105, 11sp/12sp), rim and disc brakes, mechanical and Di2 gear systems, and other modern standards in the bicycle industry.
