Bike guide
We are looking for guides for our growing activities in Mallorca. Do you live for cycling and sharing that passion? You might be the person we are looking for!
Are you the guide we are looking for?
(6-20 weeks in the period February – June and/or September – October)
You will guide international cycling groups in Mallorca in a professional and enthusiastic manner, ensuring that guests have an unforgettable cycling holiday. This will be on a frequency of 5 times a week.
You will be able to respond quickly to the needs of individual guests without losing sight of the interests of the group. You will provide solicited and unsolicited advice on cycling technique, nutrition and, where possible, the culture, history and landscape of Mallorca. The position is divided into four cycling levels.
From Easy Rider (average 20 km/h) to Breakaway group (average 30+ km/h).
You are jointly responsible for a good team spirit within Team Rompelberg and contribute to a good working atmosphere. You are the face of the organization and are open to feedback from guests and employees alike.
You will consult frequently with your coordinator and fellow guides.
In addition to your main activity, you will assist during peak times with issuing, collecting, and preparing the e-bikes.
Profile
- Extensive experience on a racing bike.
- Basic knowledge of bicycle mechanics and navigation systems
- Proficient in Dutch, English, and German; Spanish is a plus
- Available for at least 6 consecutive weeks
- Physically fit and able to guide groups for 5 consecutive weeks at the agreed level
- Management experience in work or sports
